Southwest Colorado resorts did not have a good snow year. But despite the lowest snowpack of any region in the state, skier visits were up in Telluride and Crested Butte and down only slightly at Purgatory and Wolf Creek. And those visitors spent big during the 2014-15 season, the resorts say.
