RRC Associates was commissioned by Visit Sun Valley to conduct a residents survey. According to Dave Belin, RRC Associates’ Director of Consulting Services, the survey, which is scheduled to be completed in mid-June, so far reveals that ensuring access to outdoor recreation and activities is a high priority for residents, closely followed by preserving a small-town feel and the importance of the arts and festival events. Belin noted that remarkably Sun Valley has not experienced the kind of crowding at trailheads and other places as other mountain resorts. Visit Sun Valley plans to use the survey data to preserve a desirable quality of life for residents. RRC Associates conducts residents survey research across the country.
