RRC Associates, in collaboration with University of Colorado Boulder Leeds School of Business, worked to summarize the economic impacts of arts and culture in Aspen Snowmass during the 2019 calendar year. This study summarizes the economic impacts of arts and culture in Pitkin County, Colorado in 2019, updating similar studies conducted in 2003/04 and 1995. The study provides a comprehensive overview of the many ways that arts and cultural offerings contribute to the local economy.
The study was sponsored by 12 prominent local arts, culture and environmental organizations, along with the Aspen Chamber Resort Association (ACRA), the City of Aspen, and Snowmass Tourism. ACRA also played an important role in coordinating and facilitating the study.
