Qualitative Research Manager

Sue has been with RRC for 17 years in a variety of roles. She has been responsible for fielding interviewers for many of RRC’s in-person research projects for most of those years, which includes hiring, training, scheduling, and managing the interviewers. She occasionally conducts interviews also and is the liaison between interviewers (with their timely in-the-field observations) and project managers.

In addition, Sue proofreads and edits materials (surveys, reports, proposals, etc.), writes article blogs for RRC’s website, programs and tests Qualtrics surveys, and more. She was also the focus center manager and primary recruiter when RRC held frequent focus groups. Sue has a diverse skill set and helps RRC where needed.

Sue has a B.A. in Journalism/English from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Before her time at RRC, she held various jobs, including working as a technical writer, technical editor, sales writer, and sales rep. In her free time, Sue enjoys social and ballroom dancing; singing; hiking; gardening; and attending music, arts, and community events. She lives in Boulder County with her partner and enjoys visits from her two adult sons.
