It has not gone unnoticed by summer visitors that the nightly rates at Aspen’s lodging properties don’t necessarily match the quality and condition of them.
The resort’s aging bed base was noted as a “key weakness” in a recently released report from Boulder-based RRC Associates, a consulting firm hired by the Aspen Chamber Resort Association to conduct a survey of tourists over this past summer.
